We are offering volunteer service for 1 volunteer from 2nd October 2023 until 18th January 2024.
PROJECT TOPICS
sustainability, environmental issues, use of digital tools, youth unemployment, active citizenship (compass), post-covid society (mental health), attachment to ESC goals!
HOW TO APPLY
Send us your application before August 14th to mcb@zptm.si. CV, motivational letter and presentation video are required. A selection will be made based on your resume and motivation letter. Selected candidates will be invited to the online interview (Zoom). If necessary there will be the second interview round. This round will be held shortly after, to have a better insight on your experiences and motivations.
During your mission you would:
- inform local community about activities in YC,
- develop and disseminate youth documentation (guides and brochures) and educational tools (exhibitions, games, information monitoring tools and other additional resources),
- organize group activities, international evenings, camps and educational activities (animation targeted on a theme according to the needs of the public),
- create fun activities for young people, help the staff to organise activities for young people, parents, etc.,
- inform and raise awareness of volunteering programmes, international mobility and interculturality, promote ESC programs,
- be involved in multimedia activities: designing posters, taking photos, recording podcasts, etc.,
- have free time to develop any kind of project that you want.

ACCOMODATION
You will be accomodated in appartment in Brežice.
TRAVEL REFUND
You will be refunded 275 EUR for both ways. We encourage green travel, where 50% of the journey should be done in a sustainable way (by train or bus)
FOOD AND POCKET MONEY
We will give you money for food each month and you will receive pocket money for your hobbies: between 200€ and 300€ .
PROFILE OF VOLUNTEER
Our project is available for 1 volunteer from EU countries (volunteer service is in English).
Self-motivated: Being eager to learn and motivated to work on the proposed project activities. Motivating to work with people in a non-formal education context.
Being autonomous: You should be able to take initiatives, and suggest activities for young people.
Teamwork: You will create workshops for young people with the staff of our organisation or partners, so you should be able to share your ideas, point of view, respect each other, etc.
Open-minded: Openmindedness and respectfulness are important to our association.
Friendly: You should like to develop and improve your skills and abilities, be open for experiments, have some hobbies and like to share them when organizing activities.
