Prostovolkja Thais iz Francije, ki opravlja prostovoljno delo v sklopu projekta Evropske solidarnostne enote v Mladinskem centru Brežice, se je udeležila usposabljanja v Termah Snovik v organizaciji Nacionalne agencije MOVIT.
Svojo udeležbo na usposabljanju je prostovoljka opisala tako:
From 27th of November to 1st of December, I went to my on-arrival training in Zreže.
During this training, me and the other ESC volunteers of Slovenia got to know each other through different activities, coordinated by three dedicated trainers. We also had the opportunity to discuss about the different roles of the volunteers, our organisation, our home organisation or the national agency.
One task of the training was a team project about solidarity. Me and my group decided to create motivational/positive posters and quotes and put them in public spaces or give them to coffees. It was a fun activity that brings to my group a lot of joy and gratefulness.
This training was the opportunity to meet the other volunteers from Slovenia, playing games and music during free times, or discuss about various topics. Furthermore, we were accommodated in the terme Zreže with a free access to the pools and a buffet with a lot of different options.
The on-arrival training was a great experience and necessary to connect with other volunteers.
